The Eastern Sierra mountains are one of my most favorite places on earth, it’s an absolutely spectacular part of the World. This image was created on a summer backpacking trip with my wife in 2021. After hiking for several hours we arrived at our camp for the night tired, thirsty, hungry but very relaxed. Hiking in the mountains has a way of clearing away the clutter in the brain and allow me to hit the reset button. As the sun was setting I noticed the light hitting the trunks of the trees across the lake, I loved the shapes of the trees and the lines reflected in the water.
I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did creating it.
