Death Valley National Park

Sunsetting behind Telescope Peak from Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park. At 282 feet below sea level, Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America and a must stop whenever I’m in the park. The repeated freeze-thaw and evaporation cycles give the basin it’s unique hexagonal shapes, which provides endless photographic opportunities.

I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did creating it.
