Ebb & Flow No. 8

I absolutely love photographing the ocean, it calms me and brings me immense peace. This image is from my Ebb & Flow series where I use a slower shutter speed to capture the movement of the water along the shoreline of the ocean. When I see rocks like this one I often wonder how long it’s been there, how many storms has it endured or whether it was here the whole time or did it have to travel a long way to get here. This image reminds me of strength and has a calming feeling as well.
